SENCO TO INTRODUCE CO DETECTORS, MAY SEEK AGENCY
By Adnews Staff
Senco Sensors Inc. of Vancouver plans to launch its line of carbon monoxide detectors in Canada by next March, but hasn't decided yet what agency will handle the company's advertising, acting marketing and sales vice-president Don Park told Adnews yesterday. Currently, Group Design of Vancouver is creating the packaging for the products and a brochure. Senco will wait to see how this project turns out before it decides whether to continue to use Group Design for its advertising or hire another agency, Park said. Separately, Senco hired a PR agency recently called Chalice Communications of Vancouver. The agency was chosen after Senco spoke to other agencies. Chalice was chosen based on work it has done for other clients. Senco also plans to launch its carbon monoxide detectors in the U.S. next fall.
