ROYAL CANADIAN MINT ACCOUNT UP FOR GRABS

The Royal Canadian Mint has put its account up for review. Incumbent FCB Direct of Montreal has been the organization's agency since 1993 but has chosen not to participate in the review. "There were significant strategic and creative differences between our two organizations which led us to our final decision not to take part in the review," agency president Mark Goodman says in a release. FCB will launch its last campaign for The Mint for the 1997 holiday season using print ads and direct mail in Canada and the U.S.
