NGK REVVS UP OLDER ENGINES
By Adnews Staff
Japan-based NGK launched its Hi Performance Racing Cable to the North American market early last month, but the company's Canadian counterpart is still deciding whether to promote the product through media advertising. Currently, the device is being promoted using brochures in NGK's dealer network and the automotive aftermarket outlets. In Canada, the company hasn't decided yet whether to promote the racing cable through media advertising, but if it does, it will use trade publications, Canadian spokesperson Doug Bell told Adnews yesterday. Canadian advertising for NGK is done by Griffin Bacal Volny of Toronto. The cable can be used in snowmobles, motorcycles, go-karts and watercraft to improve engine performance in older machines suffering from misfiring and/or fouled spark plugs caused by worn or cracked ignition wires. The cable is available in six configurations and can be installed in three steps.
