OWENS CORNING SHOWS HOW ITS PRODUCTS WORK TOGETHER
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Owens Corning Canada launched a national print campaign earlier this month to show how its insulation and home building products work together. The ads are about making the four systems of a home: roofing, insulating, sound control and exterior, work together to provide homeowners with value, convenience and comfort. Three of the ads are in home decorating and family-based magazines, focusing on key times in a homeowner's life, first home, family and retirement. A fourth ad is appearing in trade publications. The campaign also includes point-of-purchase materials and a project organizer, which is given out to consumers who call the company's 1-800 number. Scott Thornley & Company created the campaign, while The Media Company did the media buy. Shandwick Canada is doing PR. Lord-Magee Ltd. and Optimistic Promotions were also involved in the campaign. All agencies are based in Toronto.
