TMP TAKES JOB SEARCH ONLINE

TMP Worldwide (Canada) of Toronto is trying to hook up employers with employees. The company launched an online job recruitment Web site, profiling careers in up to 200 categories, including the advertising and PR and information technology industries. Called The Monster Board Canada, the site offers information in both English and French. Job seekers can use the personal job search agent to personalize their searches. To do so, they create a personal job profile indicating the industry in which they want to work and any job-specific keywords. The personal job search agency then continually scans the Monster Board's database for opportunities that match their requirements and delivers the leads to the job seekers' computer, even when they're not on-line. In addition, The Monster Board has the ability to create resumes to post online or e-mail them to prospective employers. TMP is an advertising and recruitment agency. It is the Canadian subsidiary of TMP Worldwide of New York.
