BROADCASTERS ENTERED INTO HALL OF FAME

Eight veteran broadcasters have been inducted into the Broadcast Hall of Fame for 1997. They are former CTV sports vice-president John Esaw, Canada's first female all-night DJ Marge Anthony, Willard Bishop, developer of the world's first split system for delivering radio commercials and engineering expert Robert Bonneau. The others are Stoven-Byles, owner and president William Byles, author and broadcaster Robert Robinson, Slaight Communications president Allan Slaight and former chairman of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters and the Television Bureau of Canada, Donald Smith.
