ECONOMIC CONFIDENCE DECLINING IN THAILAND

Confidence in the Tai economy is low, according to a study by Damask/BBDO of Thailand. As a result, consumers are modifying their spending habits and spending more carefully until they see what the future holds. Consumers are staying away from larger purchases such as houses and cars, but haven't been shying away from the packaged goods they normally use. Damask/BBDO conducted the study because it wanted to gauge how all the bad economic news in the press was affecting the average consumer. The agency wanted to see if confidence levels were changing their loyalty to the products they buy.
