NEC TO LAUNCH NEW LOW-END MONITORS

U.S.-based NEC Technologies will introduce a new family of monitors next month to the North American market targeting price-conscious buyers. Called the MultiSync A series, the line consists of two monitors: the A500 and the A700. The A500 features a 15-inch screen and the A700 is a 17-inch version. NEC says the monitors use technology that provides crisp text and vivid color saturation. They combat harsh lighting conditions using NEC's OptiClear screen surface treatment to eliminate glare and enhance image contrast and focus. Both monitors also feature on-screen digital controls. In Canada, print advertising in business publications will support the launch of the products. It will be created by Hill, Holiday of Boston.
