MCDONALD'S TAKES ITS MESSAGE TO SCHOOLS

U.S. fast food giant McDonald's Corp. has gone right to the doors of schools in China to promote itself to children. The company has introduced billboards at the entrance of several primary schools in Beijing. The ads carry a large golden "M" and feature public service announcements such as reminding kids to pay attention to safety when crossing roads. The local media have criticized the ads because people they've interviewed say the most eye-catching content of the boards is the golden "M."
