DAIRY FARMERS TO INTRODUCE NEXT PROMOTION

The Dairy Farmers of Ontario will target young adults in its latest promotion for milk. The organization will launch a contest in early May where participants will call a 1-800 number, take a drink of milk, then make a sound with it. Prizes for the contest are two Ford Escorts, 150 Sony sport walkmans and 10,000 Sony CD's. The contest is being promoted using TV and point-of-sale material. It was created by Freeman, Rogers, Battaglia of Toronto. The promotional aspect was done by Q.V.S. Marketing of Markham, Ont.
