Nia Centre conducts campaign

The Nia Centre for the Arts, a Toronto-based facility focusing on the work of Black Canadian artists, is conducting a campaign called “Nia Centre: Where Art Makes Culture.” Developed pro bono by Joan Creative, the initiative is part of a launch effort that began with the centre’s opening last fall. It is intended to raise awareness of the centre and its activities. The campaign consists of video ads, digital out-of-home advertising, street posters, audio ads and digital banners. The video, which is running in 60-, 30- and 15-second version, depicts Black artists working in the facility’s various spaces.

“Joan has created a campaign that perfectly captures the inspiration that drives everyone at the Nia Centre,” said Alica Hall, executive director of the Nia Centre. “Viewers can feel the excitement and passion we have about being able to nurture the next generation of young Black artists, creatives and entrepreneurs.”
