Postmedia signs deal with Taboola

Taboola, an online content recommendation firm based in New York, has signed an agreement with Postmedia of Toronto. Taboola’s services will be integrated into 15 Postmedia websites including the National Post, Financial Post, Vancouver Sun and Toronto Sun, among others. The sites will make use of Taboola’s feed that provides readers with personalized content recommendations. Postmedia will also use Taboola’s publisher services that provide editorial recommendations and analytics.

“As the landscape for news transforms more rapidly than ever, we’re seeking out technology partners that understand our industry and can help us maintain our position of leadership,” said Duncan Clark, chief content officer at Postmedia. “We’re excited to work with Taboola as part of our ongoing strategy to boost Canadian news, as well as improve audience engagement across our digital properties.”
