VAMMR begins holiday contest

The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Society has begun a contest promotion for the holiday season. Until Dec. 8, consumers who “adopt” one of six rescue animals will be entered into a draw to attend the release of a seal into the wild on Dec. 12. Consumers can enter online at <http://www.vammr.org>.
“‘Home for the Holidays’ is an opportunity celebrate the final releases of the season but more importantly, to mark the important work of giving marine mammals a second chance at life,” said VAMMR executive director Martin Haulena. “Our mission would not be possible without our donors, volunteers, and tremendous staff.”
