Kidzapp launches in Canada

A mobile application called Kidzapp has launched in Canada. The application is intended to help parents and caregivers find and book family activities and events. The company, founded in 2017, previously operated in the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. The Canadian edition lists approximately 1,000 activites that can be searched by keyword, date, activity type, season, age category or location. It also features a map displaying nearby activities, as well as user reviews and in-app marketing campaigns. At launch, the app will be available in Ontario only. The company plans to expand to other Canadian markets in the future.

“At Kidzapp we believe that small businesses are unique in their ability to serve the region and we aim to work closely with family-oriented companies in the community to help them grow by informing people about what they have to offer,” said Kidzapp CEO Karim Beidas. “Our hope is to contribute to the creation of a sense of community where individuals and families are encouraged to give back.”
