BATES GETS A BIGGER PIECE OF WARNER-LAMBERT PIE

Bates Canada of Toronto got an extra piece of business from U.S.-based Warner-Lambert last month. The company gave its Clorets business to Bates USA of New York in a global realignment. The move means Bates' Toronto office will handle Canadian advertising for the brand. Bates already handles a variety of brands for Warner-Lambert including Bubblicious, Certs, Dentyne, Sudafed, Sinutab, Benylin and Actifed. J. Walter Thompson of Toronto was the incumbent on the Canadian Clorets account. It still handles advertising for other Warner-Lambert products.
