Mavuus launches online marketing job marketplace

Toronto-based Mavuus has launched an online job marketplace intended to match freelance marketing professionals with companies conducting marketing projects such as copywriting, web development and graphic design. According to the company, the matches will be based on referrals and personal recommendations. It can be accessed via <http://www.mavuus.com>.
“Throughout our 15-plus years in the field, we've needed freelance designers, developers, copywriters, branding experts and beyond,” said Dilya Abushayeva, CEO of Mavuus. “Many times, our vendors became unavailable, or our needs simply changed. It seemed like we were always searching. Other marketplaces didn't really work for us. Finding a great vendor on huge sites felt like uncovering a needle in a haystack. A provider may have five-star ratings, but you don't really know them. Personally, we've been burned by unreliable, unvetted, and incompetent providers.”
