Chipotle conducts Stanley Cup promotion

Restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill recently conducted a promotion in the US and Canada to coincide with the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. On May 16, consumers who wore a hockey jersey to a participating location were offered a “buy one, get one” special on entrees. The promotion included the participation of hockey players Hilary Knight, Kendall Coyne Schofield, Trevor Zegras and Jack Hughes. Chipotle is the official Mexican-themed restaurant sponsor of the NHL.

“The Stanley Cup may be the hardest trophy to win in sports, but we're making it easier than ever for hockey fans to access real food from Chipotle,” said Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer at Chipotle. “We're excited to see our restaurants filled with our fans' favorite jerseys next week as this thrilling edition of the NHL Playoffs continues.”
