Haivision debuts streaming video service for churches

Haivision Systems, a Montreal-based company specializing in video streaming technology, has introduced a new video-on-demand streaming service aimed at houses of worship. In addition to live streaming, system is intended to simplify the process of adding video content to websites, mobile applications and social media pages. According to the company, the service allows churches to more effectively promote themselves, as well as allowing users to watch a missed service, rewatch a service, or sample a church they are considering joining.

“Haivision Connect has been carefully designed for ministries to make it easy for them to live stream their services,” said Daniel Alexander, director of product management at Haivision. “Now we've applied that same ease of use to our new video on demand workflow. Video-on-demand with Haivision Connect enables churches to reach their current community and first-time guests anywhere at any time allowing them to build deeper connections with their online congregation and expand their reach.”
