DOUBLECLICK OFFERS ADVICE THROUGH ADS

New York-based DoubleClick has launched an on-line ad campaign that gives marketing pointers for advertising on the World Wide Web. The fact that cryptic messages increase click-through as much as 18% while banner burnout can sink an otherwise promising effort are two of the tips. Others include: targeting messages, posing questions in ads, using bright colors, using animation and measuring "beyond the click." The campaign was developed by U.S.-based Digital Pulp.
