COLLAGEN CANADA HOLDING CONTEST

Toronto-based Canada Collagen Ltd. introduced a national contest this week based on last year's comedy movie hit First Wives' Club. The company decided to tie its promotion to the movie, because one of the film's most famous scenes depicts actress Goldie Hawn having her lips enhanced by a collagen injection. The contest is being promoted by a national PR campaign that includes releases sent to national newswires and fashion and beauty editors. Contest participants must submit a letter that describes a First Wives experience in 500 words or less, as well as explaining why they want to win the contest. Three winners will receive a full collagen makeover treatment, a hair and makeup consultation and will be outfitted in new clothes.
