PUBLISHER PREPARING MULTIMEDIA SUPPLEMENTS

The Publishing House Inc. of Toronto will introduce what it calls a new push/pull strategy for hi-tech industry supplements. The initiative will be launched with a pair of supplements for the MULTIMEDIA 97 trade show taking place May 6-9 in Toronto. Running consecutively in Computer Reseller News Canada and The Globe & Mail within a two week period, the supplements will contain a mix of advertising and editorial. The first supplement, scheduled for March 31, will feature reseller-oriented articles and ads from multimedia manufacturers and distributors. The second supplement, aimed at end-users, will include pieces on Canada's multimedia market and ads from multimedia vendors. The Publishing House's staff writers will write the majority of the articles. In addition to publishing supplements and Computer Reseller News Canada, The Publishing House produces print, broadcast and Internet-based publications and programs.
