Mediabrands signs deal with Vice Media

Mediabrands Content Studio, a subsidiary of Interpublic, has formed a global production agreement with Vice Media Group. Through this agreement, Vice will make its collection of production content capabilities and creators available to Mediabrands agencies and clients. This includes Vice Media brands including Vice, I-D, Noisey, Refinery29, Vice News, Vice Studios and Pulse Films. Mediabrands will also have access to infrastructure that can develop various forms of branded content. Vice Media will, in return, gain access to Mediabrands clients internationally.

“We are thrilled that the Mediabrands Vice partnership extends to Canada as it provides our clients access to some of the best storytellers across the globe,” said Cynthia Steele, head of Mediabrands Content Studio Canada. “Our goal is to deliver data-fueled creative and content experiences that connect with consumers and grow our clients' business. This partnership gives us boots on the ground around the world so that we can tap into cultural trends and consumer needs while delivering high-quality content that resonates. Mediabrands Content Studio will remain the creative lead on all content, so while clients have the benefit of Vice’s infrastructure and expertise, all production will be aligned in brand look and voice and grounded in brand strategy to deliver against business KPIs.”
