TGS Esports begins recycling campaign

Vancouver-based TGS Esports, a company that specializes in developing competitive video game events, has begun a promotion in association with recycling program Return-It intended to encourage the return of beverage containers in British Columbia. The start of the promotion is timed to coincide with Earth Day. It is aimed primarily at 18- to 34-year-olds. The awareness campaign includes video content, exposure at TGS events, and a series of quizzes that will be offered to viewers during event streams. Return-It is operated by Encorp Pacific Canada.

“Increasing recycling rates across British Columbia is a key priority for our organization and we are always looking for ways to educate the next generation on the importance of recycling,” said Allen Langdon, president and CEO of Return-It. “Collaborating with TGS allows us to engage and highlight the importance of recycling directly to this target audience in a fun and engaging way.”
