SQAD expands MediaCosts system into Canada
By Adnews Staff
New York-based media planning software company SQAD has released a Canadian version of its MediaCosts system, which is intended to provide benchmarking information for advertising costs. The system aggregates “negotiated market ad cost values” for conventional national television channels, specialty television channels and radio stations using data contributed by agencies, brands and media companies which subscribe to the service.
“Canadian industry leaders shared with us their need for comprehensive market transparency,” said Marc Krigsman, CEO of SQAD. “We started working closely with leading agencies and trade organizations to develop a market cost reporting tool that meets the high standards of transparency and benchmarking demanded by Canadian advertisers.”
