Media Classified merges three publications

Media Classified of Vaughan, ON has merged three of its employment-related publications into a single entity. The publications Job Classified, Employment Classified and Employment News have been combined into Employment News. According to the company, the consolidation is intended to improve its advertising and readership options. The new publications will be distributed through 6,000 racks and boxes nationally. The Employment News website has also been redesigned to simplify the job-seeking and recruitment processes.
“The merger of these three print products provides our readers with a streamlined channel to reach potential employers more effectively,” said Leo Racioppo, president and CEO of Media Classified. “The employment sector can be confusing. Our new consolidated publication and associated web interface will make it easier to apply for opportunities that align with job seekers' skill sets.”
