Ireland & Hall Communications becomes Hall & Co.

Toronto-based public relations agency Ireland & Hall Communications has relaunched as Hall & Co. Its operations will be divided into two divisions, one specializing in marketing and branding and the other focusing on sponsorships and corporate partnerships. Lowell Hall, co-founder of Ireland & Hall, will be the agency creative lead of the agency. James Tessier, who joined the firm three years ago, will become vice-president. The new agency retains the clients of its forerunner, including the Queen Street West BIA, Smoke’s Poutinerie, the Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada, Breakthrough Entertainment and the Sci Innovation Centre. New clients include the Toronto Concert Orchestra and the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association. The company also plans an international expansion later this year.

“It is one of our key mandates as an agency to offer an opportunity to young practitioners from all backgrounds who traditionally have found it difficult to break it into this industry of media and communications,” said Hall. “This is a mandate that I stay committed to, and we have found this philosophy to be an important part of our creative DNA as we operate in this diverse international market.”
