
Aviva conducts Take Back Our Roads campaign

Toronto-based insurance company Aviva Canada has begun a road safety awareness campaign called “Take Back Our Roads.” The initiative consists of community projects and corporate partnerships intended to address dangerous roads and school zones. Aviva will identify these locations by analyzing its own data regarding collision claims, as well as data from local governments and police services. The effort also includes a website at <http://www.takebackourroads.ca>.
“Where other road safety initiatives seek to influence the behaviour of road users, ‘Take Back Our Roads’ is designed to affect the physical environment they interact with,” said Jason Storah, CEO of Aviva Canada. “We'll be leveraging our knowledge, data, partnerships and funding to invest directly in road safety initiatives.”
