Promise Gluten Free conducts sandwich shop promotion

Toronto bakery Promise Gluten Free recently conducted a promotion in that city involving a temporary sandwich shop called “Promise Superior Sandwiches.” The location operated for one day, on April 1, in collaboration with Assembly Chef’s Hall and chef Nick Liu. Consumers were offers four varieties of sandwich, and only informed of their use of gluten-free ingredients after they had tasted them. The promotion was developed by Pointman News Creation, Modern Concierge and Varga Girl Design.

“The entire team was excited to bring Canadians the clever concept of a ‘blind taste test’ to prove how great our range of gluten-free products taste and show how they can be used in sophisticated designer sandwiches,” said Promise Gluten Free founder Tom Doyle. “As we expand across Canada through Sobeys and Metro, we’re building buzz, brand awareness and demand.”
