TekSavvy conducts Pay Less to Connect campaign

Internet service provider TekSavvy Solutions has begun an online campaign called “Pay Less to Connect.” The effort encourages consumers to submit public comments to the CRTC regarding a recent directive from the Government of Canada to lower Internet and cellular telephone bills. Until April 8, consumers can submit their views online at <http://www.paylesstoconnect.ca>. Comments will also be submitted to Members of Parliament.

“Our mission is to bring Canadians real choice at a fair price,” said Marc Gaudrault, CEO of TekSavvy. “That's hard to do when a handful of giant telcos game the regulatory system to shut out competition. So when the federal government stands up for consumers, we think it's important to inform the public and offer online tools that make it easy for them to have their say.”
