New CEO at Next Canada

Toronto-based non-profit organization Next Canada has appointed Joe Canavan to the position of chief executive officer. The organization operates programs that provide education and resources to Canadian entrepreneurs. Canavan is the principal of an investment company called Canavan Capital. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Logiq Asset Management. He has also been CEO of Assante Wealth Management and Synergy Asset Management. Outgoing CEO Sheldon Levy will remain with the organization in an advisory capacity.
