Awards: Canadian Marketing Association

The Toronto-based Canadian Marketing Association distributed its annual awards this week. PFlag Canada received the 2018 Best of the Best Award for its "Destination Pride" social media campaign. Maya Lange, vice-president of global marketing at Destination BC, was named the 2018 Marketer of the Year. Touché won a gold data marketing award for tis "Data vs. Car" campaign. American Express Canada received a gold mobile marketing award for the launch of its Cobalt card. Pepsi Canada won a gold award for augmented reality marketing for its "Snap it with Pepsi" campaign. RBC and Grip win a gold award for their "Music Makes You" campaign.
"All of the entries displayed exceptional quality and ingenuity," said John Wiltshire, president and CEO of the CMA. "We are proud to honour the outstanding talent of Canada's top marketers, as they inspire the broader marketing community. Key to the success of our awards is our rigorous judging process. Our judges themselves are leading marketers with years of expertise."
