Tahiti Tourisme conducts Canadian campaign

Tahiti Tourisme has begun a Canadian marketing campaign to promote the use of guesthouses in the Islands of Tahiti. Until Dec. 30, the campaign will encourage travellers to the islands to stay in locally-run accommodations as a way of securing an authentic cultural experience. The campaign consists of content marketing with properties including TripAdvisor.ca, La Presse and Dreamscapes Magazine. Online materials will also be posted to the organization's Facebook page and a campaign website at <http://www.tahitianguesthouse.ca>.

"Tahitians are renowned for their warm hospitality and Tahitian guesthouses," said Gina Bunton, chief operations officer at Tahiti Tourisme. "These offer visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves into a more authentic way of travelling, a more personalized experience and to build long lasting connections with our people and our islands. The diverse range of Tahitian guesthouses throughout our islands affords travellers a dynamic array of experiences. Through these intimate stays, travellers will grow closer to the Tahitian way of life, learn about the islands and their history, savour home-cooked food, revel in activities unique to each location, and much more."
