MovieCoin, TV-Two form promotional agreement
By Adnews Staff
Vancouver-based cryptocurrency company MovieCoin has formed a promotional agreement with TV-Two, a company specializing in the use of blockchain technology to assist in video content discovery for internet-connected television sets. Through this agreement, content which is financed by MovieCoin will receive advertising exposure on TV-Two's services. In return for watching sponsored videos and consenting to the use of data, TV-Two viewers receive tokens which can be used to access other video content.
"TV-Two and MovieCoin share the common vision of a streamlined, efficient and personalized entertainment industry that is based on the power of blockchain technology," said Philipp Schulz, co-founder of TV-Two. "As motion pictures financed via the MovieCoin platform become a reality, our ability to direct advertisements towards select users through our behavioral and interest-based targeting capabilities will ensure that marketing budgets are spent efficiently. In return, viewers can enjoy a customized and less disruptive television-viewing experience."
