NEWFOUNDLAND SELLS STAKE IN SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO

Newfoundland Capital Corp. has sold its 35% interest in Southwestern Ontario Printing and Publishing to its partner company, Goodhead Canada Ltd. Southwestern publishes The Tillsonburg News, The Tillsonburg Independent News, The Delhi News-Record, The Ingersoll Times, The Norwich Gazette, The Simcoe Reformer/Tuesday Times Reformer, The Woodstock Sentinel Review, The Lakeshore Shopper and The Oxford Shopping News. Newfoundland Capital is a management company involved in the transportation and communications sectors. The Communications Group consists of commercial printing operations and 33 newspapers and specialty magazines. It also operates 13 radio stations across Canada.
