DuBreton begins Life of Pigs campaign

Meat producer DuBreton has begun a new campaign called "Life of Pigs" that focuses on the ethical treatment of animals. The initiative makes use of a website at <http://www.lifeofpigs.com> and a series of online animated videos. The creative highlights the differences between conventionally-farmed pork and pork that is farmed according to the guidelines established by the "Certified Humane" and "Canada Organic" certifications. The campaign also includes social media activities on Instagram and Facebook.

"There is a lot of misleading information when it comes to the treatment of animals raised for meat production," said Vincent Breton, president of Les Viandes du Breton. "The only way to be sure that your pork has been consistently raised in a humane and respectful manner is to look for independent third-party certifications, such as Canada Organic and Certified Humane. At DuBreton, we believe that better choices change the world, and educating today's youth is crucial to making positive change that will ensure a successful future for generations to come."
