24-7 Intouch launches AI division

Winnipeg-based customer service technology company 24-7 Intouch has launched a new artificial intelligence division called Laivly. The unit will specialize in the application of AI, machine learning and automation to live customer service. Its products include a live-agent assisted AI system and an employee communications system. The company expects to hire an additional 40 employees by the end of the year to staff the division.

"Brand leaders are searching for an artificial intelligence strategy that is practical and will really work," said Jeff Fettes, co-founder of 24-7 Intouch. "We are creating unique software that allows customer service problems to be solved more effectively and with more personalization than ever before. With the help of AI, agents can now quickly process in real-time a customers full history and individual needs to create unique, personalized experiences."
