United Way Greater Toronto debuts LocalLove.ca

United Way Greater Toronto has launched a new online publication at LocalLove.ca that encourages residents of the Toronto area to contribute to their communities. The magazine-style website will publish stories on local residents working for community change, as well as suggestions about ways to participate and other related topics. The site will feature daily content, accompanied by a weekly email newsletter.
"We know people want to give back to the places they call home, but it's often hard to know where to start," said Adrienne Clarke, editor-in-chief of LocalLove.ca. "We hear it all the time. There really isn't one place where people can go to find smart and simple ways to give back and that's why we created LocalLove.ca. We are tapping into United Way's deep knowledge and connections to the community and creating this new one-stop online resource."
