IABC Toronto awards Masai Ujiri

The Toronto chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators has named Masai Ujiri its "Communicator of the Year" for 2017. Ujiri is the president of the Toronto Raptors. According to the association, the award recognizes his work enhancing the brand of the Raptors internationally, as well as his community and social improvement communications.
"I care really deeply about our team and our city, and while talking about the Raptors and Toronto is part of my job, it's also a tremendous pleasure, and that makes it easy," said Ujiri. "Being recognized as a great communicator is a huge honour, and I'm very appreciative."
