FlyGTA begins Sick Art promotion

Toronto-based short-haul airline FlyGTA has begun a promotional initiative called "Sick Art." The effort, developed by LP/AD, includes a series of air sickness bags created by Toronto street artists Runt, Jimmy Chiale and Uber5000. The bags will be distributed via the company's flights beginning March 1. In addition, framed bags will be placed on permanent display in the FlyGTA lounge at Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto. FlyGTA has also retained the artists to update their airplane livery. According to the airline, the promotion is part of an ongoing rebranding effort aimed at local consumers and tourists.

"We're a 100% local business," said Chris Nowrouzi, CEO of FlyGTA Airlines. "What better way to celebrate our Toronto roots than to bring Toronto's streets to the skies? We think that this is a fun and unique way to show our love of Toronto and the great things you can only know after having spent time living in the city."
