Groupe Média TFO of Toronto has signed a series of agreements in support of its MaXi children's mobile property. Through these agreements, the 26 11-minute animated videos will be carried on Radio-Canada's ICI Tou.tv website, on the United Arab Emirates-based youth mobile application EJunior KidsTV, and on board Air France and Eva Air of Taiwan flights.
The property, developed in collaboration with Frima Studio, is intended to raise awareness of the impact of human activities on the environment. It features a pair of twins living in a fantasy world involving "humour, music and games." The application also has an interactive element via which viewers can create interactive comics to share with friends.
"We are happy to see that our vision to expand access to our content is coming to fruition through the distribution on three different continents of one of our flagship youth series," said Glenn O'Farrell, president and CEO of Groupe Média TFO. "As bearer of inclusive and environmental values, MaXi is a proud representation of our country. While showcasing our content in Ontario, we can also share our province's cultural and linguistic richness with all of Canada and the rest of the world."
