Cadillac conducts chocolate egg direct mail campaign

Automobile brand Cadillac Canada recently conducted a test drive campaign in collaboration with Toronto-based chocolate maker Brandon Olsen. Developed by Red Lion of Toronto, The campaign made use of chocolate eggs containing a keys to Cadillac CT6 sedans. The eggs were delivered by direct mail to luxury car owners with expiring vehicle leases or those in the market for a new luxury car. Recipients of the eggs found the car matching the key parked in front of their residence. The car's pre-programmed navigation system would then direct them to Toronto restaurant La Banane, for a free dinner for two.

"Cadillac Canada is always pushing the limits of what is expected," said Matt Litzinger, president and chief creative officer of Red Lion. "They not only understand the need to differentiate themselves in the luxury automotive space, but challenge us to be as innovative as possible."
