Newad debuts new campus screens

Montreal-based out-of-home media company Newad has introduced a new advertising display product called Campus Digital. The product takes the form of a high-resolution display aimed primarily at students on college and university campuses. The screens, which measure 70 inches diagonally, will display a loop of animated content and advertising, and will be installed in high-traffic areas. The screens have so far been installed at the University of Ottawa, the University of British Columbia, the University of Alberta, the University of Toronto, Humber College, McGill University and the École de technologie supérieure.

"We're offering advertisers the very rare opportunity to target an audience made up solely of students, thereby optimizing each dollar invested," said Philippe Marchessault, executive vice-president of operations, development and innovation at Newad. "The introduction of digital boards is part of a global digitalization strategy, which is now necessary to ensure that we attract the attention of hundreds of thousands of students who spend time in our network every day. The screens are major assets in creating loyalty, not to mention creating lasting consumption habits in this young clientele."
