The Toronto-based Canadian Chiropractic Association has begun an online campaign called "Chiropractic Care Changed My Pain." The campaign is timed to coincide with World Spine Day on Oct. 16. It uses an online video to show people with spine, muscle and nervous system conditions describe the impact that chiropractors have had on their lives. The campaign also includes a website at <http://www.chirochangespain.ca> and social media activities.
"There's great diversity in Canada and in how we live and lead our lives, said Alison Dantas, CEO of the Canadian Chiropractic Association. "But our pain, that's the same. Our bodies tell the story. They carry our stresses. Musculoskeletal pain is something everyone is touched by, either personally or by watching another person you care about hurt by it. The 'Chiropractic Care Changed My Pain' campaign has been developed as a place to share those important stories and have that dialogue."
