Postmedia begins Sun campaign
Postmedia Network of Toronto has begun a new brand campaign called "We've Got It Covered" in support of the Toronto Sun, Ottawa Sun, Calgary Sun and Edmonton Sun newspapers. The campaign focuses on the coverage provided by the papers of local news, sports, politics and entertainment, as well as their "unique voice." Developed in-house, the initiative consists of print and digital ads in all Sun properties, as well as out-of-home ads in some markets. The creative has been adapted for each market to make reference to local events.
"The engaging ads highlight our newsrooms' commitment to covering the news that matters most to our readers in a fun and irreverent manner," said Rene Vierling, vice-president of marketing at Postmedia. "The new brand campaign reflects the editorial voice of our Sun properties with its emphasis on the importance of local news."
