Pizza Pizza conducts Pizza Famous promotion

Toronto-based pizza chain Pizza Pizza has begun a back-to-school promotion called "Pizza Famous." From Sept. 6 to Sept. 14, promotional workers will visit 11 university campuses in Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba. The branded installation incorporates a photo booth via which participants can submit their own images for potential future use on Pizza Pizza boxes. Consumers who enter will receive free slices of pizza and coupons. The tour will be supported with social media activities as part of the chain's ongoing "Share the Moment" social media campaign.
"Students are a huge part of our business and therefore we want to reflect that on our packaging in an exciting way," said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer at Pizza Pizza. "Can you imagine getting a pizza delivered to your dorm room with a picture of you and your friends on the box? It doesn't get cooler than that."
