Hype PR debuts in Toronto

A new public relations agency called Hype PR has opened in Toronto. It was founded by Erin Richards, most recently a senior publicist at CBC/Radio-Canada. Prior to joining the broadcaster in 2012, she was a senior consultant at Veritas Communications. She has also worked at Outside the Cube, MediaVest Sydney and MediaVest London. The agency specializes in publicity, media relations, event management and social media. Its initial clients include RGK Entertainment and Open Road Recordings.
