TALVEST INTRODUCES NEW FUNDS

Talvest Fund Management of Montreal has expanded its portfolio by three new funds. They are called the Hyperion Global Science and Technology Fund, the Hyperion Global Health Care Fund and the Hyperion High Yield Bond Fund The high yield and global technology funds became available in early November. The health care fund will be released before the end of the month. All three funds will be promoted through direct mail and trade shows. Print advertising in a December national trade publication will also support their release. Talvest handles some of its advertising in-house, but also employs DKY and Socom Design and Technology, both of Montreal. Talvest is the mutual fund arm of TAL Investment Counsel. Talvest manages 18 Canadian and international mutual funds with assets of more than $1.5 billion.
