New president at SJR Canada
Group SJR, the content marketing division of Hill&Knowlton, has appointed Selena Cameron to the position of president of SJR Canada. She was most recently an executive vice-president at Hill&Knowlton Strategies in New York. She joined the agency as an account director in the Toronto office in 2000. Cameron has also worked at Manning Selvage and Lee in London.
"We're surrounded by so much content these days that we take for granted what makes it great," said Cameron. "Content is a bit like tofu. It's nothing on its own. It's only as good as the strategy, creativity and technology we put into it. That's what sets SJR 'North' apart. Canadian businesses have thousands of interesting stories to tell. By using data, rich visuals and a journalistic approach, we can tell those stories in a way that really resonates."
Meredith Montgomery has joined Group SJR as a senior director. She was most recently a senior consultant at Hill&Knowlton Strategies. Alexandra Wilson has joined the agency as a director. She was previously a consultant at Hill&Knowlton Strategies.
