HP CUTS COST OF COMMERCIAL PCS

Hewlett-Packard Canada Ltd. cut the prices on its line of HP Vectra commercial and high-performance PCs last week by up to 17%. There will be no advertising to announce the cuts specifically, but the Vectra line is being promoted through a national print and television campaign. The ads began running in September and will continue into 1997. Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising of Toronto created the ads. BenchMark Communications of Toronto handles the company's Canadian PR.
