Quebecor restructures music operations

Quebecor of Montreal has restructured its music operations, bringing music distributor Distribution Select and music label Musicor under the umbrella of the Quebecor Media Group. This new music division will be headed by Lyne Robitaille, who has been appointed senior vice-president of newspapers, books and music. Robitaille joined Quebecor in 1988.
"By entrusting the management of our music division to our Media Group, we are bringing all operations that support the dissemination of culture together under one roof," said Pierre Dion, president and CEO of Quebecor.
